The scene: Kieran's first swimming lesson. As he usually does in group events, he toddled out to check out the other people. As usual, after he got his first look, he decided to retreat and check back in. This time, though, he'd gone further than he remembered. After I got this picture, I sidled over into his field of view. Kieran looked over at me after a moment. Then he got a confused look on his face, slowly turned his face upward, and carefully backed away to come over and grab my leg.

Kieran was enjoying kicking a ball this morning. He's not half bad. I also realized he was saying "kick" every time he did it (probably copying me). His "kick" is more of a "kggkgkrg." It sounds potentially painful. Maybe that's why he loses interest.
